Studio Antonini is a multi-disciplinary studio aiming to explore the frontiers of an innovative and sustainable architecture.
With offices in France and Italy, the company has developed a proven ability to deal with a variety of complex commissions ranging from urban interventions to museums, from cultural centers and spaces for music to schools, from refurbishments and extensions to private residences and interiors. Since latest 90s the company has always been the reference point for seismic planning, rehabilitation and reconstruction after the recurrent earthquakes in Italy.
Studio Antonini, founded in 1987 by Eng. Franco Antonini, is made up of architects and engineers who intervene during the various stages of a project’s lifecycle, who are firmly convinced that successful projects derives from a truly integrated approach to the design process, where the core disciplines are bound by creativity and innovation. Over the past 30 years, the firm has constantly invested in technology and training to enhance the services offered.
From 2010 the firm starts approaching international projects, looking towards European and Asian countries. Reputed for producing highly original, creative work, the agency has received various awards, amongst them, the Second Prize for the “Child & Youth Arts Education Center and Gangbuk-gu Comprehensive Sports Center” of Seoul, and the Honorable Mentions for the design of the Main Library of the city of Gwangju (South Korea) and, recently, for the design of the “Korean War Memorial Park for Civil Victims” in the city of Daejeon (South Korea).
